You are more than likely receiving small monthly charges to your credit card or bank account that are small enough that they don't raise alarm bells, and they will continue forever unless you make an effort to stop them. These charges can amount to thousands of dollars over time.
The best analogy I can give for these charges is that they are like ticks on cattle. The ticks need the cattle alive so they can feed off them, just like the banks, entertainment companies, and other institutions want you alive so they can feed off you without you noticing. Please take a good look at your bank account or credit card statement and see how many ticks you can find. For those that subscribe to TV channels, are you still watching all of them? What about those subscriptions you signed up, or memberships? Please have a good scrub, make an effort to get rid of them, and your bank account will be thanking you for years to come.
